OOTD: Sweater Pockets and Lace + Reviews

I think I'm smitten with this color combo: burgundy, gray, mustard, and blue. In this post I'm wearing pretty much the same color combo and I love how the colors go together.

Cardigan: Ruehl
Skirt: Anthro Marston Sweater Skirt
Top: Nanette Lepore
Tights: Grey opaque
Shoes: Chie Mihara
Bag: Marc Jacobs

Now on to the reviews. I visited my college's local anthro on Wednesday to try on and decide which colors of the Loosely Looped Tee I wanted. To my surprise, there was a lonely pair of Pebbled & Primped boots in my size in the sale room! To be quite honest, I didn't pounce on these when they first hit sale because I wasn't sure about the color. I absolutely love the ruffle, but wasn't quite sold since metallic isn't really my thing. Because of my boyfriend's excitement over these, they came home with me!

To my surprise, I loved the color on these. I'm a normal size 7.5, but I could use a size 8 for more comfort but because they are all sold out and I don't feel like searching for an 8 I'll keep these. If they had a heel then I would definitely scope out a size 8. That ruffle is gorgeous!

In this post I wasn't sure which color to get in this tee. For the longest time I was smitten with the grey version but apparently there's two different versions of the grey and the one below isn't the one I liked. I ended up getting the purple and the green because the colors are so rich and I needed them in my life.

  1. OMG you have those Chie Mihara shoes--I've been in love with them for a year. By the time they went on sale my size was sold out. :( They look great on you!

  2. Thanks Beth! Were they sold at Anthro? I found them at Neiman Marcus Last Call and the sizing is crazy! I'm usually a 7.5, but these are a 9! It totally threw me off because I saw a different pair and they were 7.5 and they fit, so now I don't know what size I actually am in Chies.

I absolutely adore the Marston Sweater Skirt too! It was on my wishlist of things that I really really want for the longest time and I finally caved and bought it with my birthday discount. The pockets kill me with awe!
