This dress is super special to me because it solidified my love for Gossip Girl. When I first saw this dress on Season 1's "Blair Waldorf Must Pie" I just about died. Lace and ruffles?? You can't just look like that! I wanted this dress the moment I saw it, but I could not find it anywhere online. I pretty much gave up, but then I saw it pop up on a Gossip Girl website and I knew I had to own it no matter the price. For me this dress is a Gossip Girl icon piece. I would love to own the Trina Turk cape that Blair pairs with this dress, but for now I am completely satisfied with this winner. I wore this dress to my office Christmas party where I sang 3 songs while I was sick so it wasn't the greatest but I still gave my all.I feel that this dress is lucky for me because I wore it on my birthday last October. My boyfriend and I went downtown to an amazing sushi restaurant and guess who was there...Mario Lopez!! Brave as he is, my boyfriend cut in front of other people as Mario was leaving the restaurant just so I could get a picture with him. Can I just say HUNK!! Anyways, I love this dress and I will wear it every chance I can get because it's effortless chic.

Now on to the revamped anthro cardigan. I saw a new version of the Remaining Lilies Cardigan, which I own, and I have to say I'm not really feeling it. I love the original and I just don't feel like Anthro needed to revamp such a perfectly good cardigan. It looks like they had some plain cardis left over and some random felt and stuck it on the cardigans. If anything, I think the original should have been released after the newer version because the original colors suit winter/fall whereas the newer colors suit the spring. That's just my opinion. You be the judge.
