I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so surprised that this skirt was at Plato's Closet since they usually take shorter skirts from Abercrombie and such. This skirt was the longest one on the rack! Before I went to Plato's Closet I went to Clothes Mentor which is a higher end store compared to Plato's and saw some Anthro pieces as well. I guess the moral of this fairy tale is to go to thrift stores because you never know what you're gonna find! Oh yeah, I got the skirt for a measly $12!!!

Did That Really Just Happen?!!?!
Okay so I haven't blogged in a while because I'm suuuper busy but I had to blog about this one. So I went to Plato's Closet today and was looking through the skirt rack and I looked ahead and saw a print that looked familiar and I was like NUH-UH! I quickly skipped ahead to that print and lo and behold, there it was..the SWEET LIFE SKIRT!! I was like are you freakin kidding me?! How is this even here? This skirt is so old! The weird thing is, I saw this skirt on ebay in this exact size go for $127.50 just earlier this week.

It's hard for me to believe that I only have 2 more months of college left ahhhh!! Hopefully I'll be able to stop by here and there but for now here's a quick OOTD.

OOTD: Meet my new best friend, Elodie Lily
I've been longing for this cardigan for some time now and am ecstatic to snag one up in my size! Ebay has been my go to shop over Anthropologie lately and I'm very pleased. My one tip for your lost Anthro items is to never give up! Sooner or later, they'll turn up!
I recently found an item on my list that I completely thought was a lost cause. I wasn't sure if I should get it because the price is pretty steep, but today in my senior Business Strategy Capstone class we had a quiz competition against the 3 other teams. I was shaking because I was so nervous. Why was I so nervous for a competition that only provided a pizza party? Well I do love my pizza, but with that aside I didn't want to look like a fool! I'm in charge of the marketing department in our "business" and I had to go head to head against the other marketers on the other team. I didn't want to look like a fool and let my team down. All I wanted to do was answer one question and you know what? I answered the first one along with several others and our team won!
I've never been so excited to win something like this because now our competition knows who's in it to win it. I know I haven't explained this class to the fullest, but basically there's 4 teams and we all think of a new product/service and basically start a business. At the end of the semester we have to make a presentation to my school's business board and convince them why they should invest $5 million (of pretend money) into our business. So that's why this class is such a big deal and why I'm ecstatic that our team won! With all that said, I decided to purchase the long lost Anthro item that I've been dying to own and you bet you'll see pictures soon!

OOTD: Ice-Capped Valentine
On to my outfit, I normally don't wear the cliche colors on holidays such as red on V-Day, green and red on Christmas, etc. I wasn't sure what I was going to wear today, but right away I knew I wanted to style my new Ice-Capped Blouse that I'm ecstatic to say that I own now via Ebay (yet another life saver!). This is also the first time I wore these heels and the bf and several others loved them. They are super comfy even if they're pretty high. Overall I felt good in this outfit. I think on these days to come I'll go just a tad bit more dressy, but while at school I kept it down a notch.
Despite my anti feelings, I had an amazing Valentine's day with my amazing man. Hope you all had an awesome day as well!

Preliminary(?) Header
As you can see I have a new, well not new because I never had one, header! I always wanted to use pictures, but never knew how. I like that I have pictures of my outfits so readers can see my style right off the bat and see if they can relate to me or not. I'm just not sure if it looks pretentious or whatnot having all these pictures of myself. I'm also worried about people having trouble loading my blog because of all these pictures. I'm not very tech savvy so I don't know if that's relevant or not. I may go simple, but I might keep this layout and then add and subtract outfits according to preference. As you can see I am a very indecisive person so this will have to do for now!

OOTD: Field of Remaining Lilies
When the Field Skirt came out I was automatically drawn to the gold version. For some reason all of a sudden deep mustard yellow has been a color that has lured me in. When this skirt went on sale I didn't know if I should get it because I already own the Marston Sweater Skirt and the Hellebore Sweater Skirt. I got advice and realized that this color is becoming a neutral in my wardrobe because it seriously goes with so many colors so I decided to pounce on it. I'm sooo glad that I did because I'm in love with this seasonless piece and can't wait to wear it in so many other different ways.

OOTD: Scalloped Dots and Loosely Looped
I must rave about Polyvore for a slight minute because it has helped me in so many ways this year. One of my new year's resolutions is to pick my outfits the night before. A couple of summers ago I was determined to make my own lookbook. I physically made outfits from my closet and then took pictures of them. This process was so time consuming, stressful, and ineffective. Out of the 30 outfits I made I probably wore like 2 of them!
Polyvore has pretty much changed my life. Ever since I became an Anthropologie fanatic it's been super easy to locate pictures of my items to clip to my Polyvore. Making outfits is so much fun and I can do it whenever I have free time. Sadly before Polyvore came into my life I would wake up and look at my closet full of clothes and could never find anything to wear. I started to get lazy and go for comfort instead of style ah!
Every night I pick an outfit from my Polyvore sets and it has cut down my getting ready time and spiked my personal style. This morning I woke up late and was freaking out but thankfully I had an outfit picked out so I was able to get ready in about 20 minutes! Needless to say, if you don't have a Polyvore account GET ONE! It will seriously change your life. It's like the virtual closet that Cher from Clueless has. I've always wanted her revolving closet, but now I feel Polyvore is way better!
